Pennsylvania People biographies are written on two levels. Level 1 biographies are written on a 3-4 grade reading level. Level 2 biographies are on a 5-6 grade reading level, and contain more information than those on Level 1.

The reading level of each biography is measured using the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level measurement available in Microsoft Word.
